Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club

A Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club aka Jesters of Goodwill is a 501(c )3 all-volunteer charity. Mission Statement is: The Jesters of Goodwill dedicated to helping youth in-need in the lake area. 50% of the lake area children live below the federal poverty line. The charity works through the professionals at 5 local school districts and community social agencies. These professionals who works directly with children living in poverty know the needs of these children and make requests to the charity to meet those needs. The charity provides everything from dental care, eyeglasses, and prescriptions to new school clothes, sports equipment, and band instruments; from cars and car parts to dual credit scholarships, and school and community activity participation fees. The Idiots Club has even paid for hay for a horse so a girl could be in the Equestrian 4-H Club and donated $5000.00 toward a prosthetic arm for a 7 year-old boy. In 9 years, the Jesters of Goodwill have raised and spent over $1,000,000.00 helping children living in poverty here at the Lake of the Ozarks.
