Lake of the Ozarks The Midwest's Premier Lake Vacation Destination

And the post was called Aux Arcs:

Although the Lake is only 75 years old, the area is rich in history. The Osage Indians first settled the Ozark hills, but Lewis and Clark were the first to describe the natural wonders of the Ozark Mountains. Civil War, westward expansion, and railroads all helped develop this area, long before the Osage River was dammed.

Bagnell Dam is 75 Years old this year. Check out the construction of the Dam and all of the 75th Anniversary Events.
