Morgan County Museum
The museum is located in the Martin Hotel which was established in 1853 and closed in the 1960's, making it the longest running hotel in Missouri. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Sites in Washington DC in 1978. The Museum has 28 rooms of antiques and a research and genealogy room.
Twenty-eight rooms of the hotel are uniquely decorated in different themes, including a chapel room, weaving room, barbershop room, schoolroom and the Miss Lucy room, in honor of the last surviving member of the Martin Family.
